The two trash titans,a definitely mean machine!

Συμπαθητικό crime/action ισπανο-ιταλικής παραγωγής με πολύ δυνατό cast.

Μετά από τη δολοφονία ενός επιχειρηματία,ο δημοσιογράφος Mark Spensieri(Merli) εκδηλώνει ενδιαφέρον για τις δραστηριότητες της τοπικής μαφίας που επικεντρώνονται στο λαθρεμπόριο πετρελαίου.Με τη βοήθεια του φωτογράφου φίλου του(Stiglitz)αρχίζει να ξεδιπλώνει το μίτο των παράνομων δραστηριοτήτων.

Αλλά οι ντόπιοι μαφιόζοι είναι αποφασισμένοι να απαλλαγούν από τον ενοχλητικό δημοσιογράφο.Τα τσιράκια τους βιάζουν την κοπέλα του Spensieri(Caratti)και η κατάσταση ξεφεύγει από κάθε έλεγχο,καθώς τυφλωμένος από το μίσος ο Spensieri σκοτώνει όποιον μαφιόζο βρίσκει στο διάβα του.

Καλή πλην τυπική σκηνοθεσία από τον Siragusa,κλασική ερμηνεία από τον Merli με τους υπόλοιπους ηθοποιούς να βγάζουν επάξια το μεροκάματο,πλην του θεού Stiglitz,o οποίος θα μπορούσε να παραμείνει ανέκφραστος ακόμα και αν τον πυροβολούσε κάποιος στο πόδι,μιλάμε για τόσο “ξύλινο” ηθοποιό, και καλούτσικο soundtrack από τον Stelvio Cipriani,τα δυνατά χαρτιά της ταινίας.

Στις αδυναμίες καταγράφονται το υπερβολικά τυπικό σενάριο και το σχετικά αδύναμο φινάλε.

Βλέπεται πάντως σε πολύ χαλαρά πλαίσια,Οι οπαδοί του είδους θα περάσουν ασυζητητί 80 πολύ ευχάριστα λεπτά.

Pretty cool yet typical spanish-italian crime/action flick with very strong cast is what we have here.

Mark Spensieri(Merli) meddles with the local mafia’s oil smuggling activities and he jeopardizes his life.After the rape of his girlfriend(Caratti) by some sleazy mobsters he swears revenge and he turns to a very effective vigilante by steadily executing each and every individual invonved in the rape.

The film has got a very leisurely pace,and the contradiction here is that despite of the overall violence the film seems sort of tame compared to some really menacing Lenzi  crime movies.The direction is good yet somehow typical,strictly following each and every convention of the genre.The cinematography is nothing special either.The Cipriani soundtrack works quite good  but is also quite typical.The performances of the cast are also typically adequate without any profound moments.Merli once again proves that he was a rather good actor trapped in mannerisms,his role doesn’t really give him a free hand for anything else than teeth grinding and punching galore.The only change is that he  seems genuinely devastated after the aforementioned rape.

To wrap this up,here we deal with a an overall good movie.Fans of the genre are guaranteed to spend 80 relaxed minutes of cool crime/action without any surprises.
